Welcome to my page! My name is Debra, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist dedicated to enhancing your well-being through the healing power of touch. With 5 years of experience in the field, I specialize in a range of techniques designed to alleviate stress, reduce pain, and promote overall health.
About Me
Education
My journey into massage therapy began with a passion for helping others and a fascination with the body’s ability to heal itself. I pursued my certification from the Academy of Massage Therapy here in San Antonio, Texas. I trained extensively in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy. My education provided me with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and the latest therapeutic techniques. I graduated with Honors at the top of my class.
In 2019 I traveled to Singapore to explore and learn about Chinese Massage Therapy. I experienced many different types of massage on my ten day excursion around Singapore. I learned many different techniques and I apply some of those in my sessions. I love to travel and I love meeting new people.
TDLR requires all L.M.T's to complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years. I have taken many courses on many different subjects to include geriatric, essential oils, and business management.
When I am not Working
In my free time I love to dance, read, and learn! I love learning new things and I have a natural curiosity about everything. I value spending time with my son and watching him grow up. I also spend a great deal of time outside. I love swimming, hiking, rock hunting, gardening and just watching my chickens run around.
Fun fact about me: I collect rocks from all around the world!
